Lisa Louis has been immersed in the autism trenches since her younger son's diagnosis in 2000.
She plies her trade as a Japanese technical translator in San Francisco.
After a childhood of traipsing through the fields and forests of rural New York State, and graduating from Williams College,
Lisa lived in Japan for several years, leading her to write Asian Studies/Women's Studies title Butterflies of the Night.
