Cape Francis Beach Walk-Florida

Walk/trail: Cape Francis Beach, from Anastasia State Park entrance
Location: near St. Augustine, Florida USA (Anastasia State Park parking lot, 300 Anastasia Park Rd. St. Augustine, FL 32080))
Walk distance: The Cape Francis Beach Walk is 7.47 miles out and back.
Highlights: This sandy beach walk leads through an area rich with birds, including roseate spoonbills, osprey, eagles, painted buntings and warblers. In the right season, there is also the possibility of seeing nesting sea turtles. Pass through dunes and flatland ecosystems. Many enjoy the soft white sand, but there is also a boardwalk extemding out over the dunes.
