Bacton Wood, England
Walk contributed by: Ed Louis, Marion Becker and Beagles Suzie and Lucy
Walk/trail: Bacton Wood
Location: Close to Pigney’s Wood, off Old Hall Road near Edingthorpe, England
Walk distance: Bacton Wood info page lists Yellow Trail 1.3 miles, Red Trail 2 miles, Blue Trail 2.5 miles
Highlights: One of the North Norfolk walks we like from our base in Mundesley, England. Bacton Wood offers walks of various lengths but all easy to manage on well-maintained paths. Visited by many but still relaxing and quiet in the woods. Can spend a couple of hours here and try trails of different lengths. All easy going and relaxing. If you’re lucky you can see a slow worm (legless lizard!) amongst other wildlife. We like this one when we want a change from the beach.
